How/Why did you first start or join your business?
The Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop started in 2003 to provide low costs goods to our clients. Over time, we’ve become a destination for a wide-range of customers.

What products or services does your business provide?
Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop offers desirable, pre-owned clothing, jewelry, accessories, household goods, furniture, books, pop culture and other interesting items. It’s a treasure hunt every day!

What makes your business or your product unique?
All of our inventory is donated by the community. We are now accepting donations in our parking lot at 198 Rantoul St. during business hours.

What made you decide to become a member of the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce?
The GBCC is an invaluable resource. The business-to-business relationship expands our ability to inform the community about our mission.

How has the current situation with Covid-19 affected your business, and what changes have you made due to the situation?
The pandemic’s impact was felt mightily mid-March when we were forced to close. However, the Food Pantry continued to serve our clients when they needed us most. Since the revenue from the shop funds client programs, we, thankfully, re-opened early summer with COVID precautions in place: face masks social distancing, limited capacity.
