The Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that Leslie Gould will be joining the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director. Leslie has been the Director of the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce for ten years, and prior to that, she was Director at the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce.
As the new GBCC Executive Director, Leslie says her mission is to continue to connect and unify people; to design events and programs that speak to the individuality and needs of the Greater Beverly area, and create new opportunities to promote and market their businesses.
Leslie is a native of Swampscott and graduate of Boston University, College of Communications with a BS in Broadcast Journalism. She currently serves on two Governor appointed committees: The MA Commonwealth Corporation and the MA STEM Advisory Council and is a member of the Swampscott Rotary Club.
She received a certificate in non-profit organizational management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management. She is an award-winning cable television producer, was awarded a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow as a member of the Marblehead Rotary Club, served as Commissioner for the Essex National Heritage Area, served on the Board of Directors for the North of Boston Visitor and Convention Bureau and many other Town and City committees.
