Greater Beverly businesses will be recognized for the following criteria:
Large Business of the Year (25+ Employees)
A local business with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.
Small Business of the Year (less than 25 employees)
A local business with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.
Large Non-Profit of the Year (25+ employees)
A local non-profit organization that is a leader in the community and positively impacts change through innovative solutions to challenging issues that affect our region.
Small Non-Profit of the Year (less than 25 employees)
A local non-profit organization that is a leader in the community and positively impacts change through innovative solutions to challenging issues that affect our region.
Business Person of the Year
A local business person who has a strong sense of integrity and demonstrates excellence in business practices with a high level of social responsibility to the community.
Family Business of the Year
A family business that has a unified and innovative vision and is set up so that the business can thrive from one generation to the next.
Emerging Leader of the Year
A rising star that is filling a void in the community and is taking their business to new heights through active leadership in the business and civic communities of the North Shore.
Sole Proprietor of the Year
A one-person business owner that possesses a high level of business acumen that drives their success and whose vision and passion elevate their business within the community.
Employee of the Year
An unsung hero who goes above and beyond internally, externally, or both, while creating a positive impact for their organization. [should be nominated by a co-worker/owner of the business or a GBCC member who does business with them.
Rookie of the Year
A business that joined the GBCC in the last two years and has demonstrated a high level of participation, volunteerism and enthusiasm for the organization.
