Greater Beverly businesses will be recognized for the following criteria:

Large Business of the Year (25+ Employees):  A local business with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.

Small Business of the Year (-25 Employees):  A local business with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.

Large Non-Profit of the Year (25+ Employees):  A local non-profit with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.

Small Non-profit of the Year (-25 Employees):  A local non-profit with a record of longevity, stability, and success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement.

Business Person of the Year:  A local business person who has a strong sense of integrity; demonstrates excellence in business practices, and has a strong sense of social responsibility to the community.

Family Business of the Year: A local family business that has a unified vision, is innovative, and wants the business to thrive from one generation to the next.

Emerging Leader: A person who is self assured; persists in the face of resistance; prefers to forge their own path; and is driven and passionate about their business and the community.

Sole Proprietor: A one person business in which the owner produces independently with his own capital and assumes all the risk ownership; has a strong business acumen, and possesses solid communication and strategic planning skills. This sole proprietor has demonstrated business growth or a high level of success.

Employee of the Year: Awarded to an Employee who goes above and beyond their responsibilities and who creates a positive impact for the organization.
